After you finish tutorial once, all the classes you create next, you can skip tutorial and start at level 10 straight. Actually there are 7 sharpshooters in top 100 right now in KR. Seems to me like Paladin is the worst as there is only 1 paladin in the top 100. They are the most annoying class to deal with. "You don't play games to win, you play games so you can make you're opponents rage quit". Sharpshooter can do that in PvP. Deathblade is really fun. I feel like I'm playing a Bayonetta/DMC type of game where I try to go for the most stylish kills possible without letting the enemies touch the ground. Also the skills just flow really well together. It's a lot less "assassin" than I was expecting, but it's still really fun. Honorable mentions are Paladin and Sorc. The animations are smooth, most can be dash canceled which makes it easy to dodge. The 60% shield from transformation (and the 50% shield from fiery escape) is VERY nice everywhere there is chip damage or dots. The general squishyness of the class makes him binary tho: you are either full life and shielded or dead.IMO after trying half the classes in the game, Surge Blade is by far the most fun spec in Lost Ark. Obviously Surging for huge damage is fun, plus the class is pretty mobile and the animations and sounds are, subjectively, pretty nice.Each class in lost ark has two class engravings, or two different play styles/builds to chose from. Picking an assassin to play is essentially picking 1/6 not 1/3. TL;DR: Most preferred DPS classes: Gunlancer, Wardancer, Glavier, Destroyer Least preferred DPS classes: Striker, Demonic, Arcana, Summoner Soulfist is a pretty challenging class to play optimally and the two builds require different skillsets to pilot so when I have the resources I'll definitely set-up a robust spirit gearset for fun. It's still doable with a support but it goes through much faster if you have a dps that has large aoes or that has higher movement speed/skills. You can easily switch to a more preferred class once you reach North vern, where you unlock knowledge transfer. Knowledge transfer allows you to skip the story to ...fact is lost ark has the best combat system of all MMOs. end of story. playing WoW or FF14 after playing lost ark for a while is basically impossible cos you die of boredom. but to each their own. seems like you are having some mental issues tho if you stick around a sub for something you hate just to try and make others miserable..
